Changes

After various people telling me I have lost weight after my holiday, and me realising it [when you keep having to hitch your pants up and tuck in a shirt at work something has changed!], I decided to weight myself: down 10kg to 85kg. Still perhaps a bit heavy, but in a much better position. And rather shocked I dropped that much in 3 or so weeks. Especially given the amount of food consumed:
[also a chance to see the absolutely wonderful and inspirational people I travelled with]

it was some shock: but then, there were times I did not eat a lot [though times I did!], and it was very fresh and healthy.

But I suspect the walking: and oh my, was there wondrous walking!, helped a great deal too.

Received my result today for my final subject of my Postgraduate Certificate in Information Technology Project Management [Credit (72)]. Am happy: though the perfectionist within me screams at my drop from the run of High Distinctions. Vanity of Vanities!, thy name is Ian. I will, most likely, move into the Master of Business in Information Technology Management. Technical stuff in computing has never been a great love of mine, nor [I'd say -- others here seem to disagree] a great skill of mine: not sure how I will go from a more business [manager perhaps?] focus, but we shall see. Life is as adventure, and I am happy to see where it takes me.

What brilliant photos, and well done on the 10kg drop. I must go to Georgia and pig out at once!

What fantastic photos. I want to go back to Turkey and do more travel! A bit further afield I think next time, down into Syria and Jordan. Yep, that would be nice.

I think lugging your suitcase around may have helped with that weight loss! Congratulations. That’s fantastic. I wish I could say the same…..

Nice to have you back safely in Australia.

Syria and Jordan are on my list too Semele. And the suitcase looks heavier than it was [until I put the carpet in: but I did not lug it around after that! :) ]

Jack: perhaps there is a new market for Georgian tourism? :)

And thanks both for the kind comments on the photos.

I missed this blog, somehow, and was wondering when we’d get to see some of your photos of your trip to Georgia. It looks amazing and, by the sounds of it, was quite some trip.

I’m with Jack – if pigging out in Georgia results in such impressive weight loss, I’m on the next plane out there!

Plenty more photos to bore you with Smudgie: still sorting it out in my head. Keep pushing me and I’ll cave in soon enough. :)
