A good lecture last night; looks like an interesting subject, and one that takes people, that often neglected component, into consideration as much as it does systems. A very ‘out there’ and entertaining subject co-ordinator gave the first lecture: an introduction as well as an overview of the first assignment [where an audible sigh [...]

First lecture and my first elective — Advanced Project Management — of Spring Semester 2008 survived. Happily, we have the same lecturer we had for core subject Project Management which I did in Autumn [and somehow scored a High Distinction -- my expectations aren't up there this semester!] He is rather entertaining, well-informed [...]

Troparion – Tone 3:
Holy Passion-bearer and healer Panteleimon,
entreat the merciful God,
to grant our souls forgiveness of transgressions.
Kontakion – Tone 5:
You emulated the Merciful One,
and received from Him the grace of healing,
Passion-bearer and healer Panteleimon;

The Stations of the Cross was far more moving, and challenging, then I had thought it would be. Seeing [...]

A week of nice results: we came first at trivia after a number of weeks at second — or worse. We had an absolutely fantastic second round [35 points out of 40: our best second round ever], and managed to hold it over the third round — my knowledge of the CDs of Ms [...]

I managed 87, High Distinction, for my Project Management subject last semester: I’m rather chuffed.
Uni starts again in two weeks. I will attempt to do two subjects in Spring Semester: the core subject Systems Quality Management and the elective Advanced Project Management [payment will be covered by the Government under the HECS-HELP system[*]]. That [...]

I’ve seen two [rather large] groups of World Youth Day pilgrims out here in the wild west of Sydney over the past few days. It does make me feel some joy: how wonderful to see so many people, from such a wide variety of places, all gathered here in the name of Christ. [...]
